American Airlines expands its European network for the summer of 2025 with the addition of five new routes. After a four-year pause, the airline will reintroduce nonstop flights to Edinburgh, Scotland (EDI). New services will also connect Philadelphia with Milan, Italy (MXP); Charlotte with Athens, Greece (ATH); Chicago with Madrid, Spain (MAD); and Miami with Rome, Italy (FCO). These new routes reflect AA’s growing trans-Atlantic footprint, offering more direct connections between the U.S. and Europe than any other American carrier.
