Delta Air Lines unveils a comprehensive cabin interior redesign launching fall 2024, featuring modern aesthetics, enhanced lighting, and improved seating materials across all cabin classes. The rollout begins with a Boeing 757 and continues with an Airbus A350 in early 2025, aiming for fleet-wide implementation. The design emphasizes passenger comfort and reflects Delta’s evolving brand identity with natural materials and heritage colors.
Technical Specifications and Implementation
The renovation includes memory-foam cushions on widebody aircraft and sophisticated mood lighting programs designed to match different flight phases. The new color scheme incorporates softer, warmer tones with natural materials like wool, while distinctive design motifs – the Infinite Grid and Celestial Sky pattern – adorn bulkheads and lavatories. Cabin identifiers and under-bin dividers will distinguish different service classes on widebody aircraft. The modernization extends to lavatories, featuring bright walls, Azure Blue cabinets, and improved flooring materials.
